In this article, you'll find all the information you need to import your transactions from Crypto.com to CryptoBooks via CSV.
🚨 3-Year Limit on Crypto.com Transaction History
Please note that the Crypto.com app only allows you to download up to 3 years of transaction history. If you need data older than that, it will not be accessible through the app’s export feature.
We recommend downloading your transaction history regularly to ensure you keep a complete record of your crypto activity.
How to download the CSV file from Crypto.com app
Follow these steps to download a CSV file from Crypto.com app:
login into the app and press Accounts in the bottom menu.
click on the clock icon in the top right corner (transaction history).
press the square icon with an upward arrow (export).
on the export page, under Transaction, select the type of CSV you want to download:
crypto wallet
fiat wallet
crypto.c
select the start and end dates of the period in which your transactions occurred.
press the Export to CSV button.
important: repeat the procedure only for Crypto Wallet and Fiat Wallet, these files already include transactions from the Visa card (do not import Visa card csv).
Import your first CSV file into CryptoBooks
Follow these steps to create your connection to Crypto.com app and import your first CSV:
login into your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections
click on the Add Connection button in the upper right corner
click on the Crypto.com app Icon, you can use the Exchange filter or type "Crypto.com app" in the Search Bar to find it easily
choose a Name for your connection
if you are a resident in Portugal or Spain, you'll be asked to choose the nationality of the intermediary. To know more, check this guide
select the first file you want to import
click on the Create Connection button in the upper right corner of the page
the import of the transactions inside your CSV will begin!
Import additional CSV files into the Crypto.com app connection
In the previous section of this article, you created the connection by importing the first CSV file. In this section, you’ll see how to import additional CSV files into the same connection:
login into your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections
find the Crypto.com line and click on the 3 dots to open the dropdown menu
click on the Add new CSV option
select the file you want to import
click on the Save edits button in the upper right corner of the page
the import of the transactions from your CSV will begin! Click Continue and repeat from step 4 for each additional CSV you want to import
