In this article, you'll find all the information you need to import your transactions from MexC to CryptoBooks via Excel file.
🚨 Some transactions may be missing from your download
MexC provides Excel export with a maximum history of 180 days.
If you need transaction records for periods earlier than this, please reach out to MexC’s support team to request the relevant files.
⚠️ Download Excel Files in English
All the Excel files must be downloaded in English.
Make sure English is set as your account language before requesting your files.
What to Upload
To connect MexC to CryptoBooks, you’ll need three types of Excel files:
Deposits and Withdrawals
Spot Trades: Transaction History Excel file
Small Asset Conversions
How to download the Deposits and Withdrawals file
Follow these steps to download an Excel file from MexC:
on MexC click on wallets in the upper right corner
from the drop-down menu, select Transaction History.
select Export
under type, select Deposit.
select a date range covering your entire period of activity on the exchange.
(Note: each file can contain up to 12 months of data, therefore multiple downloads might be needed to export your entire transaction history).
leave the encrypted file box unchecked.
select generate.
select confirm.
when the report is ready, select download.
now change the type to Withdrawals (step 4 of this guide) and repeat the process in order to export your withdrawal history
repeat from step 5 for each year, as each file can only include up to 12 months of data.
How to download the Spot Trades file
Follow these steps to download an Excel file from MexC:
in the upper right corner, select the profile icon and click on orders.
from the drop-down menu, select Spot orders.
select the Trade History tab.
select Export
under trading pair, select all.
under side, select all.
select a date range covering your entire period of activity on the exchange.
(Note: each file can contain up to 12 months of data, therefore multiple downloads might be needed to export your entire transaction history).
select generate.
select confirm.
when the report is ready, select download.
repeat from step 7 for each year, as each file can only include up to 12 months of data.
How to download the Small asset conversion file
Follow these steps to download an Excel file from MexC:
in the upper right corner, click on wallets.
select Spot from the drop-down menu.
next click on Spot Statement.
click on Small Asset MX Conversion.
click on Export.
leave All as selection in the drop-down menu for the fields Crypto and Direction
select a date range covering your entire period of activity on the exchange.
(Note: each file can contain up to 180 days of data, therefore multiple downloads might be needed to export your entire transaction history).
lastly click on Generate.
repeat from step 7 for each year, as each file can only include up to 12 months of data.
Import your first Excel file into CryptoBooks
Follow these steps to create your connection to MexC and import your first Excel file:
login into your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections
click on the Add Connection button in the upper right corner
click on the MexC Icon, you can use the Exchange filter or type "MexC" in the Search Bar to find it easily
choose a Name for your connection
if you are a resident in Portugal or Spain, you'll be asked to choose the nationality of the intermediary. To know more, check this guide
select the first file you want to import
click the Create Connection button in the upper right corner of the page
the import of the transactions inside your Excel file will begin!
Import additional Excel files into the MexC connection
In the previous section of this article, you created the connection by importing the first CSV file. In this section, you’ll see how to import additional Excel files into the same connection:
login into your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections
find the MexC line and click the 3 dots to open the dropdown menu
click the Add new CSV option
select the file you want to import
click on the Save edits button in the upper right corner of the page
the import of the transactions inside your Excel will begin! Click Continue and repeat from step 4 for each additional CSV you want to import
