Follow these simple steps to connect your Binance account to CryptoBooks in order to have all your transactions automatically imported in your profile.

(written description below the video!)

  1. On Binance click on the icon profile at the top right corner of your screen

  2. Navigate to the API Management menu

  3. Click on Create API Key

  4. Give a name of your choice to the keys you are about to create

  5. Click on Generate API Key

  6. Follow the security instructions required by Binance to finalize the process

Please make sure that you only allow READ ONLY permissions for the keys you have just created.

  7. Once the security procedure is completed Binance will show you two keys which you will need to copy and store in a safe place, because you will not be able to retrtieve them anymore

    1. API KEY

    2. SECRET Key

  8. Now go back on CryptoBooks Connections page and click on Add Connection

  9. Click on the Binance logo by filtering the list using the Exchange API tab or digit the name in the quick search box

  10. Give a name of your choice to your connection, select the default category and press the Next step button

  11. Insert the keys copied from Binance and press Connect exchange

  12. Done! The sync between Binance and your CryptoBooks account just started!

Misalignment between balance and sum of transactions

Binance does not allow you to automatically download some transactions, so your balance will not be aligned with the sum of transactions that CryptoBooks can retrieve through the API.

Read these articles to learn how to correct the misalignments:

Our team has already identified some types of transactions not provided by the API, start with this list to check what is missing:

  1. Binance Converts

    1. We can automatically retrieve up to 100 transactions of this type

    2. We can automatically retrieve all the Binance Converts created after the connection via API

    3. Manually import the Convert transactions prior the API connection skipping the last 100 (see point a)

You can find your Binance Convert history at this page after logging into Binance
      https://www.binance.com/en/my/orders/convert/history

  2. P2P Trades

    1. We can automatically retrieve up to 6 months of history starting from the day you connect to CryptoBooks via API

    2. We can automatically retrieve all the P2P Trades from the moment of API connection on

    3. If you have P2P Trades older than 6 months from the date you connected your API, you need to import them manually

You can find your P2P history at this page, after logging into Binance
      https://c2c.binance.com/en/fiatOrder

  3. Margin Trade History
You can find your Margin Trade history at this page, after logging into Binance
    https://www.binance.com/en/my/orders/margin/usertrade

  4. Third Party Wallet Transfers
If you have transactions to third party wallets inside Binance, you need to import them manually. You can search them at this link:
