What is a WITHDRAWAL transaction?
A withdrawal transaction refers to the movement of cryptocurrency out of a wallet, exchange, or platform that you control. The asset leaves your account or wallet.
If the transaction didn't take place on one of the sources you automatically connected to CryptoBooks, or it wasn't provided by the API or CSV file, you can manually add it in order to have your accountability correct.
Examples:
Sending crypto from an exchange to a personal wallet
Transferring funds to a hardware (cold) wallet
Paying someone in crypto
Sending tokens to another platform for staking or investment
Donating crypto or making a payment for goods/services
How to create a manual outgoing transaction
click on Transactions from the main menu on the left
click on the Add transaction + button at the top right
in the new modal click on Outgoing
compile all the required fields, check the box at the bottom to confirm and finally click on Save and Add
check out this guide to choose between using the automatic market price or set it manually
done! your withdrawal transaction has been added and will appear in your transaction list as shown in the image below
