How to read the Transactions page

Learn how to read the data displayed in the Transactions page of CryptoBooks

The Transactions page in your CryptoBooks account displays a range of key data essential for properly managing your crypto accounting. This article is designed to explain the meaning of each item shown, helping you understand and interpret every transaction detail.


Transactions page element breakdown (top to bottom)

Header

Starting from the top of the page, the following buttons are placed on the right side

More actions, this button allows users to perform the following actions:

  • Export transactions in CSV file - downloading a csv file containing the list of desired transactions (all or filtered)

  • Jump to transaction - locating a specific transaction by searching it via transaction ID

  • Check for transfers - verifying the presence of potential transfers pairs and linking them automatically

Main table

In this section all the information avaialble for the transactions are displayed:

  • the arrow icons placed on the left side represent the different transaction types:

    • red upward arrow - withdrawal / outgoing

    • green downward arrow - deposit / incoming

    • two orange bidirectional arrows - trade

  • Date - shows the date and time the transaction was made, by clicking on the arrows, it is possible to sort the transactions starting from the oldest or the most recent

  • Token OUT - shows the icon, symbol and name of the outoging asset

  • Amount OUT - shows the amount of outgoing token units

  • Token IN - shows the icon, symobl and name of the incoming asset

  • Amount IN - shows the amount of incoming token units

  • Capital Gain - shows the capital gain or loss generated by the transaction, by clicking on the arrows, it is possible to sort the transactions by profit/loss generated

  • Other info - shows the source connection of the transaction and the assigned category


Footer

At the bottom of the table, are placed the tools to navigate through the transactions, from left to right:

  • choose how many transactions to display per page (10 - 25 - 50 - 100)

  • view the transaction count in relation to the total

  • move between pages using the arrows, or click in the cell displaying the number to digit the number of the page you want to jump to, then click on the green check icon
