Connect Swissborg to CryptoBooks via CSV file

In this article, you'll find all the information you need to import your transactions from Swissborg to CryptoBooks via CSV.


How to download the Swissborg CSV file

Follow these steps to download a CSV file from Swissborg:

  1. in your Swissborg app click on your Profile

  2. from the menu displayed click on Account Statement

  3. in the new page fill in all the necessary fileds:

    1. starting date

    2. ending date

    3. currency

    4. desidred file format, select Excel File

  4. lastly click on the Excel File button to proceed to the download

  5. since Swissborg provides the file in Excel format, it is necessary to convert it to CSV format to allow the software to accept it.

Import your first CSV file into CryptoBooks

Follow these steps to create your connection to Swissborg and import your first CSV:

  1. login into your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections

  2. click on the Add Connection button in the upper right corner

  3. click on the Swissborg Icon, you can use the Exchange filter or type "Swissborg" in the Search Bar to find it easily

  4. choose a Name for your connection

  5. if you are a resident in Portugal or Spain, you'll be asked to choose the nationality of the intermediary. To know more, check this guide

  6. select the first file you want to import

  7. click on the Create Connection button in the upper right corner of the page

  8. the import of the transactions from your CSV will begin!


Import additional CSV files into the Swissborg connection

In the previous section of this article, you created the connection by importing the first CSV file. In this section, you’ll see how to import additional CSV files into the same connection:

  1. login in to your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections

  2. find the Swissborg line and click on the 3 dots to open the dropdown menu

  3. click on the Add new CSV option

  4. select the file you want to import

  5. click on the Save edits button in the upper right corner of the page

  6. the import of the transactions from your CSV will begin! Click Continue and repeat from step 4 for each additional CSV you want to import
