Connect Revolut to CryptoBooks via CSV file

In this article, you'll find all the information you need to import your transactions from Revolut to CryptoBooks via CSV.


How to download the Revolut CSV file

Follow these steps to download a CSV file from Revolut:

  1. open the Revolut app on your smartphone

  2. tap on Crypto in the bottom menu.

  3. on the new screen, tap More

  4. select Documents, then Statement

  5. choose the Excel format (the file will still be generated as a CSV)

  6. select the period (choose from the beginning if this is your first connection to CryptoBooks)

  7. finally, tap Generate

  8. you will receive the requested file in the app


Import your first CSV file into CryptoBooks

Follow these steps to create your connection to Revolut and import your first CSV:

  1. login in to your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections

  2. click the Add Connection button in the upper right corner

  3. click the Revolut Icon, you can use the Exchange filter or type "Revolut" in the Search Bar to find it easily

  4. choose a Name for your connection

  5. if you are a resident in Portugal or Spain, you'll be asked to choose the nationality of the intermediary. To know more, check this guide

  6. select the first file you want to import

  7. click the Create Connection button in the upper right corner of the page

  8. the import of the transactions inside your CSV will begin!


Import additional CSV files into the Revolut connection

In the previous section of this article, you created the connection by importing the first CSV file. In this section, you’ll see how to import additional CSV files into the same connection:

  1. login in to your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections

  2. find the Revolut line and click the 3 dots to open the dropdown menu

  3. click the Add new CSV option

  4. select the file you want to import

  5. click the Save edits button in the upper right corner of the page

  6. the import of the transactions inside your CSV will begin! Click Continue and repeat from step 4 for each additional CSV you want to import
