In this article, you'll find all the information you need to connect MexC to CryptoBooks via API and automatically import the transactions you made on your exchange.

🚨 Some transactions might be missing
The MexC connection has limitations dictated by the provider. Check the limitations and possibly compensate for potential shortcomings with manual activities. Here are the limitations:

  • MexC APIs can only retrieve the last 90 days of deposits and withdrawals, and 30 days of trades.

  • Margin trading and futures are not supported


How to create API credentials on MexC

Follow these simple steps to connect your MexC account to our software and import all your transactions into your CryptoBooks profile:

  1. log into MEXC and in the top right corner, select your profile icon

  2. from the drop-down menu, select API

  3. under Manage API/Create New API Key, check all the boxes with read permissions

  4. select create

  5. enter your email verification code or 2FA verification code

  6. select confirm

  7. copy your APIs (access and secret), and store them in a safe place


How to insert API credentials on CryptoBooks

Follow these steps to easily connect MexC to CryptoBooks via API

  1. login into your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections

  2. click on the Add Connection button in the upper right corner

  3. click on the MexC Icon, you can use the Exchange API filter or type "MexC" in the Search Bar to find it easily

  4. choose a Name for your connection

  5. if you are a resident in Portugal or Spain, you'll be asked to choose the nationality of the intermediary. To know more, check this guide

  6. enter the API key and the API secret you copied from MexC

  7. finally click on the Create Connection button in the upper right corner of the page

  8. the sync between MexC and your CryptoBooks account will begin!
