Connect KuCoin to CryptoBooks via CSV file

Learn how to connect KuCoin to your CryptoBooks account

In this article, you'll find all the information you need to import your transactions from KuCoin to CryptoBooks via CSV file.


How to download the KuCoin

Follow these steps to download a CSV file from KuCoin:

  1. login into your KuCoin account

  2. click on the profile icon in the top right corner

  3. in the left-hand menu, click on Export History

  4. now, click the Export button in the top right corner

  5. in the Market field, you can select all the necessary CSV files:

    1. Account History

      1. Funding Account

      2. Trading Account

    2. Deposit/Withdrawal History

      1. Deposit History

      2. Withdrawal Records

    3. Spot Orders

      1. Filled Orders

    4. Trading Bot (if used)

      1. Spot

    5. Convert Orders

      1. Filled Orders

    6. Earn Orders

      1. Staking History

  6. now, select the time period for which you want to request the CSV files

    Note: KuCoin allows selecting only one year at a time, so you may need to repeat the process for all years you have been active on the exchange

  7. set the timezone to Europe/Paris

  8. check the box to include sub-accounts

  9. finally, select the CSV file format

  10. confirm by clicking the appropriate button in the pop-up window

  11. once the reports are generated, you will receive them via email, ready to be imported into your CryptoBooks account


Import your first CSV file into CryptoBooks

Follow these steps to create your connection to KuCoin and import your first CSV:

  1. login into your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections

  2. click on the Add Connection button in the upper right corner

  3. click on the KuCoin Icon, you can use the Exchange filter or type "KuCoin" in the Search Bar to find it easily

  4. choose a Name for your connection

  5. if you are a resident in Portugal or Spain, you'll be asked to choose the nationality of the intermediary. To know more, check this guide

  6. select the first file you want to import

  7. click on the Create Connection button in the upper right corner of the page

  8. the import of the transactions inside your CSV will begin!


Import additional CSV files into the KuCoin connection

In the previous section of this article, you created the connection by importing the first CSV file. In this section, you’ll see how to import additional CSV files into the same connection:

  1. login into your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections

  2. find the KuCoin line and click on the 3 dots to open the dropdown menu

  3. click on the Add new CSV option

  4. select the file you want to import

  5. click on the Save edits button in the upper right corner of the page

  6. the import of the transactions inside your CSV will begin! Click Continue and repeat from step 4 for each additional CSV you want to import
