For all transactions imported into your CryptoBooks account, it is necessary to specify a conversion rate for the token purchased (deposits), sold (withdrawals), or exchanged (trades) in order to accurately calculate balances and capital gains.

The user has the option to use the automatic market conversion rate or to manually enter the desired rate.

By default, if no specific instructions are provided by the connection (API or CSV), the software will use the automatic market rate.

  • To proceed, simply enter the transaction details and press the Edit button.

  • This will activate the Modify button for the Transaction Value and Token Price fields.

  • By pressing Modify, the field will turn white, and the button will change to Fill in.

You can then manually enter either of the two values (entering the token price will automatically update the transaction value and vice versa).

  • By pressing the Fill in button, the automatic market conversion rate will be used, and the field will return to gray.

  • To confirm your choice, press the Save button.
