Learn how to read the Financial Statement report.

Read this guide to understand the meaning of the information contained in the Financial Statement Report.

Header

On the first page of the report, we find the following information from top to bottom:

  • Logo and name of CryptoBooks

  • Report title

  • Request date and email address associated with the account (profile indicated only for the Family plan)

Report Summary

  • Edited conv. rates: indicate the number of transactions for which the conversion rate has been manually modified.

  • Fix transactions: indicate the number of fix transactions entered to resolve misalignments.

  • DeFi Swaps: indicate the number of pairs of transactions linked as DeFi Swap.

  • Transfers: indicate the number of pairs of transactions linked as transfers.

  • Period from: indicate the first day included in the report.

  • To: indicate the last day included in the report.

  • Accounting Country: indicate the user's country of tax residence.

Report Details

  • Changes to Conversion Rates

    In this section, it lists the transactions for which manual changes were made to input conversion rates that couldn't be automatically retrieved.

  • Fix Transactions

    Here, it shows the Fix transactions entered to resolve misalignments caused by incomplete data provided by exchange APIs or blockchains.

  • DeFi Swap Transactions
    In this list, you will find transactions that the user has chosen to indicate as part of a single exchange transaction, but the automatic connection indicated them as two separate transactions (deposit and withdrawal).

  • Transfers

    In this part of the report, it lists transactions marked as transfers and which are excluded from the capital gain calculation.

  • Connections

    In the last part of the report, you will see a list of active automatic connections to your account and the transactions imported from them.
