Learn how to read the report for all your transactions.

Read this guide to understand the meaning of the information contained in the All Transactions Report.

Header

On the first page of the report, the following information is displayed from top to bottom:

  • Logo and name of CryptoBooks

  • Report title

  • Date of request and email address associated with the account (profile only shown for Family plan)

Report Summary

  • Incoming: indicates the number of incoming transactions (deposits)

  • Outgoing: indicates the number of outgoing transactions (withdrawals)

  • Trade: indicates the number of exchange transactions (trades)

  • Period From: indicates the start date of the report

  • To: indicates the end date of the report

  • Accounting Country: indicates the user’s country of tax residence

Report Details

  • Transaction Date: indicates the date when the transaction occurred.

  • Source: indicates the origin connection of the transaction.

  • Transaction Type Symbol: icon representing the type of transaction:

    • Green arrow pointing down for Deposits

    • Red arrow pointing up for Withdrawals

    • Two yellow arrows in opposite directions for Trades

  • Currency: indicates the currency of the transaction.

  • Amount: indicates the quantity of the transaction currency.

  • Acquisition cost: indicataes the fiat amount spent to purchase this token

  • Conversion Rate: indicates the fiat countervalue of one unit of the token.

  • Trade Out Currency: indicates the currency sold (only for trade transactions).

  • Trade In Currency: indicates the currency purchased (only for trade transactions).

  • Trade Out Amount: indicates the amount of tokens sold (only for trade transactions).

  • Trade In Amount: indicates the amount of tokens purchased (only for trade transactions).

  • Fees: indicates the amount of any fees paid for the transaction.

  • Capital Gain: indicates the capital gain generated by the transaction.

  • Transaction Category: indicates the category of the transaction (e.g., trading).

Note: Transactions are listed by token, and in the case of trades, the same transaction will appear on both pages of the two exchanged tokens.
