How to create API credentials on CoinEx
Follow these simple steps to connect your Coinex account to our software and import all your transactions into your CryptoBooks profile:
on CoinEx, click your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen
click on API management
click on Create API
assign a name for your API, set the permissions (read-only) and complete the 2FA. Then click on Download API
you'll receive an API ID and an API key you can copy.
How to insert API credentials on CryptoBooks
Follow these steps to easily connect CoinEx to CryptoBooks via API
login in to your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections
click the Add Connection button in the upper right corner
click the CoinEx icon, you can use the Exchange API filter or type "CoinEx" in the Search Bar to find it easily
choose a Name for your connection
if you are a resident in Portugal or Spain, you'll be asked to choose the nationality of the intermediary. To know more, check this guide
enter the API key and the API secret you copied from Coinex
finally click the Create Connection button in the upper right corner of the page
the sync between CoinEx and your CryptoBooks account will begin!
