How to create API credentials on Kraken
Follow these simple steps to connect your Kraken account to our software and import all your transactions into your CryptoBooks profile:
on Kraken, click on the profile icon at the top right corner of the screen
from the dropdown menu click on Kraken+
now click on Connections & API
click on Create API keys
you will be required to move to Kraken Pro to proceed, by clicking on the Go to Kraken Pro button
in the next page click on Create API key
in the final step, assign a name to your keys, grant the permissions shown
in image below and lastly click on Generate Key
once the security procedure is complete, Kraken will display two keys. Make sure to copy and store them in a safe place, as you won’t be able to retrieve them later:

Secret Key
How to insert API credentials on CryptoBooks
Follow these steps to easily connect Kraken to CryptoBooks via API
login in to your CryptoBooks account and from the menu, select Connections
click the Add Connection button in the upper right corner
click the Kraken Icon, you can use the Exchange API filter or type "Kraken" in the Search Bar to find it easily
choose a Name for your connection
if you are a resident in Portugal or Spain, you'll be asked to choose the nationality of the intermediary. To know more, check this guide
enter the API key and the API secret you copied from Kraken
finally click the Create Connection button in the upper right corner of the page
the sync between Kraken and your CryptoBooks account will begin!
